Hi everyone.

I am starting this thread as a way for all of us to get together and meet each other prior to our sailing.

It a great way to share ideas, as well as our excitment about our upcoming cruise.

You can also ask questions or discuss any concerns that you may have. A great way to start this off is for everyone to post a short biography about themselves so we can get to know each other.

Hopefully, we will have an active board. Half the fun of cruising is the anticipation.

As a brief bio I've been addicted to cruising for about 5 years and in the business for three. I love helping others experience this type of vacationing because you get the opportunity to see many contries, experience other cultures, and experience living onboard a floating city.

So, a little bit more about me, I'm single, I have a day job that I've been at for over 35 yrs that I love, so I manage my cruise business part time, which is my passion. I don't have children or pets, and don't keep plants in the house that need to be watered because I travel so much.

When I take vacation you KNOW where I will be....On a SHIP!!

I've been on over 20 cruises on various cruise lines and love working with folks like Joan who enjoys bringing a new twist to cruising, like this SeaFaire!! Good going Joan!

I hope you all have some fun with this thread. It's almost as addicting as cruiseing itself!! By the time you sail you will feel you've known each other forever!

Having trouble figuring this out. I want to join the chat, but am internet UNsavy! Help. How do I get my own message without the danger of eliminating anyone else's message?

No, unfortunately, they do not go with our personas. However, it is a very user friendly site where it will make it easy to communicate with each other.

I would like to know if anyone traveling is skilled in period language. I am barely literate in this in order to keep in character. Could we devise some workshops of our own to practice while onboard? Is anyone able to act as coach or teacher?
