We just booked this cruise last week as part of a group cruise. Our daughter, SIL, and 7 year old GDD and SIL's mother are going too. Our 23 yr old son may also come. GDD has the week off from school. It'll be her first of many, I hope, cruises with GM and GF.

Anyone going on the Mediterranean Aug. 17th. sailing? would love to share excursions with other couples. This will be our honeymoon -we are super excited!!

Has anyone thought of booking some excursions? Carnival excursions are twice as much as using locals-would love to share an excursion or a few with anyone interested.? We'd get a much better rate.

My husband and I are on this sailing also !!!! We are doing a pre-cruise stop at Disney. Vettebuff I see you on Cruise critic also !

My wife, daughter, and I along with both my wifes and my mothers will be on this cruise. Not much as partiers, but my daughter and I will be in the surf at our stop on Half Moon Cay.

Kathy, Sorry it took so long to get back here. Have you found any interesting local excursions? I'm especially interested in one from the Grand Turk port. We'll be going to Coki Beach/Coral World in St. Thomas and the fort in San Juan.

We got back from our 7 day Freedom Eastern Caribbean cruise last night (4/26). All of us - DH, Frank, DS, Jon, DD, Jen, DSIL, Greg, DGD, Erin-8, and Greg's mother, Sandi, had a wonderful time. It was the first cruise for Jen's family but it won't be the last. Erin really enjoyed Carnival's Kid's Camp and she's already planning her next cruise!

We just had a barbeque lunch and beached it at Half Moon Cay. While we were in St. Thomas, we went to Coral World and Coki Beach and I saw tons of fish while snorkeling. We went down Paso de la Princesa and shopped in Old San Juan while we were in Puerto Rico, and Jon and I spent a few hours at the pool bar in Margaritaville on Grand Turk. Although I didn't win anything in the Slots Tournament on the ship, Frank hit a nice jackpot that almost had us breaking even in the casino. We only went to the first production show and the one with comedian, Lou Guerra. We liked that one a lot. The food was good, the staff, friendly and well trained, and the accommodations were fine. Jon, Frank, and I will be on the Freedom again in about 8 months to do the Western Caribbean.
