Hello all,

I followed Danny here. I'm with him on this wonderful cruise and looking forward to making new friends along the way. He's the one that does all the website work and the brains of the operation. I'm just along for the ride and those 5 wonderful days at sea. I can't wait. I'll get on over to the Introduce myself side in a bit. Right now, a day off is worth it's weight in gold around here, so I think a nice slow-burning fire is in order on this frigid day in IL. Have a wonderful weekend all.

If any has been wanting to go on this cruise but coulnt find a cabin Carnival is showing some cabins available again

Casual: Now's the time to sport your Tropical shirt, colorful bathing suit and your cool sunglasses. Casual attire and resort wear is the order of the day both on board and in port. This includes, but not limited to: Shorts, slacks, sundresses, blouses, a pair of rubber-soled sandals or sneakers and a pair of good walking shoes. Oh! Don't forget your sunscreen and hat.

You might also want to bring a sweater or jacket for cool evenings and inexpensive rain gear in case of a sudden shower. The Lido Restaurants are open nightly (with the exception of the last evening of the cruise), and have a casual dress code.

Formal: You'll have a chance to dress up and meet the Captain! -- tuxedo; suit and tie; sport coat, tie and slacks; evening gown; cocktail dress; pantsuit; etc -- on two nights during 7 day or longer cruises (one night on shorter cruises) for the Captain's Cocktail Party and the Gala Farewell Dinner.

Casual Resort Wear, including: sport shirts and slacks; dresses; skirts; pantsuit and Capri pants are acceptable in the Dining Room every other night. Please note that shorts, t-shirts, tank tops and bathing attire are not permitted in the Dining Room during dinner.

One of the activities our roll call is planning on this cruise is an Open Cabin type thing. Danny and I belong to the roll call in at least 3 forums. LOL We love to talk. Anyway, we're planning to invite people to sign up for an Open Cabin thing where we all sign up to show our cabin and visit those of others. I'm sure people with different catagories will sign up and it gives us all the opportunity to see cabins we may not otherwise get to see. I keep hoping there will be others from this group that are signed up for this cruise that will notice this roll call. It would be great to have more people to meet.
