Hope that you enjoy being here with us all...unfortunately I've not cruised with Carnival but I'm sure there will be someone here to help you regarding the dresscode on their ships
Actually no, after dinner, even on formal nights, casual is the theme!! Most change after dinner. Some will always stay dressed up, but less and less do now!! It is an individual choice!!
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

Sue is right. There are some people that will stay dressed up after dinner, but I think the majority go change & get comfortable.

yep! The bars are flexible with the dress...whether it's formal, casual or beachwear, they don't refuse service (at least from what I've seen)
I stay Dressed for a few hours in my Tux. Hit the casino feel like a real player!..LOL
A few bars allways nice to see folks dressed up. But before to long I am back in shorts and tacky Hawaiian shirt...LOL
You may where what you want in the bars!
