Thread: Elation cruise

My husband and I are just back from our cruise on the Elation. In Nassau we went to the Atlantis to see the aquarium. It was wonderful. In St Thomas we went to Sapphire Beach and snorkeled. In San Juan we took the free trolley up to El Morro and back. The views at the fort were beautiful. We really liked Grand Turk's Margaritaville. We stayed by the pool where there were many lounge chairs and umbrellas. Our time on the ship was great. Entertainment was good; food was excellent; service good too. Weather cooperated. Our only complaint was that the clubs were smokey. We had a lot of fun on the Elation and are looking forward to another Carnival cruise.

Glad to hear all the positives - sometimes we only hear the negatives. We are cruising on Elation in August - Hope our weather cooperates as well!
Our cabin is on the Verandah deck - do you think that is a good location?

That's the only thing, the clubs do tend to be smokey, even on the Destiny and Valor.

Isn't Sapphire Beach awesome? Beautiful views, nice beach, great snorkeling! Anyone else going to St. Thomas - try a shore excursion with Godfrey. Tour of the island, shopping and beach time for $25 per person. Everyone in our group had such a great time and all said it was one of the highlights of their cruise!
