    Elation room v40

We are presently booked in v40 on the Elation - any info on this room? Or should we pursue the cabin guarantee and hope for any upgrade?
    Thanks

I personally have not sailed this ship, but since you are on the Verandah desck, you are very high up in a nice location on the ship (my opinion). If you've cruised Carnival before (past guest), they sometimes, (depending on who you book through) have specials where you can get an assigned room for the price of a guarentee.

Hopefully, someone with more personal experience on teh eleation can help you.

We've sailed the Elation twice and that is a great location. At the end of your hallway is stairs to a forward observation deck that most don't find right away. enjoy it. You are also only one flight up from the Lido deck, so that's a plus. DW and I love the Elation. It is large enough for a good time but not one of those giant mega ships with 3500 passengers. We will miss her in Galveston. Have a great trip.
