Thread: Carnival Dream - Smelly?!

I was reading the forums on Carnival's website, and several passengers mentioned that the ship had a terrible "poo" smell. This was was back in March of this year, has anyone cruised on Dream since then? Do you know if Carnival has taken care of this?!

Just looked at the Bon Voyage thread, and we had two members who cruised on the Dream on 1/23/2010, and 1/30/2010. No other members have been on the ship since that.

We were on the DREAM on January 30th, 2010 and didn't notice a thing. There were some posts that thought it was coming from the smoke stack on sea days but honestly ...........not a thing when we sailed. Ship is great and the new areas are fun.
The new BBQ on the Lanai is fantastic..........waterslides and minigolf are a nice touch as well.

We sailed on 1/1/2011 on the dream corridors smelled from sewer gas, alo becareful of your cabin location poor sound insulation provides no dreaming on the dream

Did Dream April 2-9, cove balcony, so was down low on the ship (and in the rear where smells would normally drift). No odors there or anywhere I went.

That's a mighty strong word, "poo". We've been on several cruise ships with that smell, but on a specific ship, usually we only encountered it once or twice and it was brief. We wish you a great cruise.

Looking at the date of your post...you probably have already gone on your cruise...was it smelly?

Interesting, where was this smell from?? Ran a dog there lol?
