Thread: Pictures from Carnival Dream - 1/30/10 Sailing

I haven't been here a while, catching up. I've only peeked at page 1 and 6 so far, so if I repeat, sorry. Just on Dream April 2-9, 2011. Beautiful ship, lots to do. My warning would be not to go in April with school breaks. The smaller kids were mostly with Camp Carnival. The older college kids were not unruly, but it was bikini (dry ones) heaven for guys. Not too many average people pranced around or used the two (not very big) pools. At night they grouped up at music venues, a few older brave people danced though. These groups were having a great time (I guess it's their job at their age), well behaved.
Had a cove balcony, LOVED it!! Close to the water!
Will not say more, it may have been said in the pages I have not read.
By the way, I was on Western Caribbean cruise. It seems unless weather and winds are perfect, they can't get to Roatan at Mahogany Bay. Apparantly the channel is very narrow. Missed that port.
Also, at Belize, you must be tendered in from 4-5 miles out due to shallow reefs. At the crack of dawn that day I saw many tenders zooming towards us, felt Like I was in Somalia about ready to be hijacked! Getting people to shore took quite a while.

Dave, your great smiles added to the excellent photos. You two seemed extremely happy. I didn't find your video so washed out, it was entertaining. The sunset photos were outstanding, the second sunset in the clouds, it looked like a dragon, and the third seemed to be a runner with short legs.
