    Cabins on Carnival Dream

The Carnival Dream is Carnival Cruise Lines' largest ship, with 1823 cabins.

The cabins range in size from the 185-square-foot interior cabins to the 430-square-foot penthouse suites.

In addition to the standard interior, oceanview, and balcony cabins, the Carnival Dream has three new types of accommodations.

The first type of new cabins are the family "quint" oceanview cabins, which will sleep five. These cabins have two baths--one with a tub and sink, and the second with a shower, toilet, and sink.

The second type of new cabins are the cove balcony cabins on deck 2. The cabin layout of these cabins is identical to the standard balcony cabin, but the balcony is partially enclosed, making it more private.

The third type of new cabins are the 65 spa staterooms and suites, which are adjacent to the Cloud 9 spa. Guests in these cabins enjoy special amenities and privileges, including unlimited access to the spa and its facilities, priority spa appointments, and complimentary fitness classes.

Did you notice how small the balconies are? Even the Penthouse Suite has a very narrow balcony...maybe 3 1/2 feet deep! It would be hard to move around if you have more than 1 person out there....they would have to squeeze by each other.

Yes, that is a little weird, wonder why they made them so small?

i was assigned an interior cabin on the Dream Inaugural Ceremony. Extremely small cabin. Only thing smaller was the NCL Majesty. But it was close in size. There was room for a queen bed, 2 night stands and a countertop with mirror. There was a small set of drawers below the TV and the closet.

Isn't the NCL Majesty being anxiously awaited this summer by the Thomson Cruise aficionados as one of their big ships?
