    Forward balconies? Really?
Wonder how usable they will be?

I remember sailing in the forword most balcony on the SIDE of the Carnival Valor, and it was extrememly windy when the ship was underway.

Maybe the way the front is sloped might have something to do with the way the wind hits those balconies. Perhaps helps to deflect it up and over.

To me the NCL Epic looks like after finishing the ship the builders decided they needed 3 or 4 more decks. So they added them to the front half of the ship

Those are the Courtyard and Garden Villa Staterooms up on top front of the Norwegian Epic. I agree it's an odd looking thing. I still prefer the NCL Pride Of America, which is in Hawaii.

So where are the buoys that she is trying to steer around. No real sea trial is complete without the obstacle course..... :lauging:

Seriously, a much nicer ship than the epic. AS for forward facing balconies, I remember on the Connie when we saw some girls coming in after doing the "King of the world" impression from the front of the ship. Their hair was a mess and they looked like they had been in 40 MPH winds.......

I know what it is like in a regular balcony room when someone has the balcony door open and someone else opens the stateroom door. Major wind tunnel. Can you imagine what it would be like if that happens with a forward facing balcony room.
