130,000 Ton Carnival Dream Float Out

TravelPulse is reporting that the Carnival Dream was floated out from it's outfitting quay at Fincantieri's Monfalcone shipyard in Italy. It will be moved to a wet-dock facility for further construction.

Carnival Dream 'Floats Out' at Fincantieri

The 130,000-ton Carnival Dream was "floated out" from its outfitting quay at the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy. The 3,646-passenger SuperLiner - the largest "Fun Ship" ever constructed - is set to debut in September 2009.

Let's hope the global economy does not worsen. Guess they'll have to lower those cruise fares to fill the berths.
