Sounds like a plan! My husband was born in NL and still has tons of relatives there - Fortune area and Fermeuse.

Are you guys experienced cruisers? We've only been on one other (Carnival Glory in Oct 2008).

We aren't in to diving/water sports, so we haven't planned any excursions yet.

Hi Mary Lou...Yes - time is getting short!

We didn't book until last month so to me, it still seems like it should still be months away!

Kevin and I are travelling alone, and we are on deck 9. I'm also a bit worried about the motion of the boat as I have read that it seems worse the higher you go. I thought I would get seasick on our first cruise but I didn't - we did, however, get norovirus!!! I think that experience was what held us back from booking our second cruise for 2 years!

We are 46 and 47 - and we also just like to lay back and enjoy being away. We have did do a couple of scenic tours on our first cruise, and we're thinking of doing a ruins tour in Costa Maya but haven't committed yet. We aren't really water sport people or party people - but we picked this tour as it was an easy fit with out schedules! Not much research or planning invoved in this one!

I'm not sure what our dining time will be - at the moment we are waitlisted for Your Time. We're pretty easy going - would love to have the option of eating when we want - but like I said, we were fairly late in booking. I havent' decided about formal night yet... do you guys usually go? Does Alvin wear a tux, or just a suit or sport coat? It seems like alot of effort to drag as suit for a couple of hours!!! I would rather save the luggage space for shopping!

hi again - yes time is getting short for sure alvin takes his suit but sport coat works well or tell the husband to just wear a shirt tie & dress pants instead of the suit. where we have been cruising on carnival for awhile we get a 2nd formal night . we are 52 & 54 & love to just lay back & enjoy the sun ....... costa maya is like a little resort with shopping complex & beach is included...this is one of my favorite spots where you can lie on the beach all day without paying for it

omg sorry to hear you got sick on last cruise.....on all the ships now they have hand sanitizer everywhere so that should cut down on the germs that people leave around

we just found out the port of calls have changed around abit (doing same ports but in different order) i think now costa maya is the last port now insted of the first

will soon be time to get the suitcases out to air & b4 you know it we will be on our way
