Thread: carnival dream sailing oct 2 & oct 9 2010

Hi Mary Lou -We just booked a tour in Roatan. It's through Victor Bodden - and it's called the Best of Roatan. His company seems to get very good reviews. For this particular tour, you get a driver for the entire day. He/she will give you a guided tour of the island (history/people/points of interest/etc), and then take you where ever you want to go and wait for you. The basic tour is $40 per person for 2 people and then drops to $25 per person for 4 or more. We are the only two in our group at the moment. Seems that most people want to go ziplining - not me! We also added on a trip to the Monkey sanctuary for $5 each and a trip to the Botanical Gardens for $6 each. Other than that, we told him we wanted to see the west end (Tabyana Beach maybe) and do some shopping there. Oh - and stop at a local grcery to pick up some coffee which I'm told is excellent. I thought I would mention this incase any of you were interested in joining us. We do plan to ba back at the ship well in advance of the deadline - and we aren't really interested in bar hopping - just not our thing!
