Thread: Carnival Dream - Eastern Caribbean - 1/30/2010 Any BLOGGERS?

We just booked this cruise, taking advantage of Carnival's early booking deal. This will be our first cruise on Carnival, and we're really looking forward to sailing on the Dream. We booked a 2nd floor balcony, which should be pretty cool being that close to the water.

I an dying to have their deluxe ocean view, with a shower and a bathtub. We have both convered to baths instad of showers. But I think your dates are too soon for also, I need one later in the year, like October, November or December.

Just booked our Jan. 30th cruise on the DREAM!
Can't wait. Got the countdown happening on my laptop.
Looking forward to speaking with you as the days pass slowly until next January. This will be our 9th cruise with Carnival we're very excited to learn that John Heald will be the CD on this trip. Check out his BLOG on the Carnival site and he's showing some pictures of the DREAM while under contruction.

Hello! I had heard that about John Heald. EXCELLENT news! I've been keeping up with his blog. Other than excursions in St. Martin and Nassau our plans are pretty much set for the trip. We're driving in the day before and are staying at the Residence Inn. They have a package that lets you leave the car there for the week, and catch their shuttle to the port.

We have our excursion for St. Thomas booked. We're on a day sail/snorkel with High Pockets. We did this same excursion back in '07, and as soon as we saw that St. Thomas was on the itinerary we booked it.

I do need to get to work on St. Martin and Nassau. DW normally handles all of the details for our vacations, but I'm giving her a vacation from that on this vacation. She's entrusting in me to make all of the plans.

We're sailing with 3 other families, all member of the camping club to which we belong.

Not on your sailing...on January 30th sailing. Have a great cruise!
