Hey Dave,
Still here. Just finished looking at some new pictures of the Carnival Dream on John's blog. Can't wait to try that new DRAINPIPE slide! You game?
They sure are preview some great things on this new ship.

We just booked this cruise, taking advantage of Carnival's early booking deal. This will be our first cruise on Carnival, and we're really looking forward to sailing on the Dream. We booked a 2nd floor balcony, which should be pretty cool being that close to the water.
Dave, a late congratulations from me on your booking of the Carnival Dream!
Those new Deck 2 cove balconies are certain something. I bet you'll love it!

Suck it up, BUTTERCUP! I am so in for the slides. I enjoyed the rock climbing wall on our Royal Caribbean cruises, but I'll take a water slide over a wall any day.

Hi Dave
I'm really excited about this ship for Canival. It's gonna be so great when she arrives. Photos once she's done would be good, it's always nice to see what they have to offer.
If your interested, you might not be, I've posted photos and videos of the Dream. I'm not sure if you've seen them. There's still a bit of work to be done on her.

Hey Dave,
I was just reading John's blog today and they showed some pictures of your cabin.................and here's the funny part..........he makes a joke about the "FISHING" thing that you and I had a laugh about on earlier posts.
I'll bet it happens sooner than they think.
I guess they're going to preview all of the cabin types over the next few blogs. Can't wait to see our rear cabin.
Yours looks awesome........hope we dont' get any rough seas.
That's all for now............keep DREAMing about the slides................................ LOL

Hey there,
Just checked out some of your posted photos "under the Sea". Nice shots. Do you dive or just snorkel?
We bring our own gear with us when we cruise.
Just think.........your cabin will be so close to the water that you can jump out when we're docked and climb right back in and nobody will ever know..
Talk to you later.
BRAD

Thanks much. I think from time to time about getting my SCUBA certification, but I enjoy snorkeling so much that I just haven't felt a burning need. Those shots were taken while free diving between 10' to 20' depth. We were on a sail/snorkel charter out of St. Thomas, in Hawk's Nest bay. That was, hands down, one of my favorite days on this planet. We're doing the same charter on this cruise. Can't wait!
LOL I hadn't thought of jumping off for a bit of snorkeling. LMAO
