Carnival Destiny Casino Question???

I am traveling on the Destiny on 2/17/08...I enjoy the casino each night. Can any past cruisers who have sailed the Destiny with the overnight stop in La Romana tell me if the casino is open that night (because the ship is in port) while in La Romana? Thanks
