Carnival Pride – 11/6 - Departure


The Carnival Pride will be significantly delayed arriving from her current voyage as it is encountering very poor, unexpected weather conditions on its way back to Baltimore. The Captain has been forced to reduce the ship’s cruising speed and given the present weather conditions, we are unable dock until late Sunday night. Guests on the current voyage will be able to debark on Sunday from 8PM to 10PM or on Monday morning from 7AM – 9AM.


Embarkation for the 11/6 cruise will be on Monday, November 7, 2011 from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (noon) and we will set sail at 3:30PM.

Below is our revised itinerary:

Along with our sincere apologies, guests will receive a one-day pro-rated refund of their cruise fare (within the next 2 weeks). Gratuities will also be adjusted to reflect the shortened voyage. Additionally, shore excursions purchased for Tuesday in Bermuda will be automatically refunded to your Sail & Sign account along with the difference of the government fees and taxes.

Carnival Fascination 11/7 Departure


Due to expected tidal conditions on Monday, November 7, 2011, the Carnival Fascination will be delayed arriving from her current voyage. In order to allow for safe clearance of the Dames Point Bridge, the ship is now scheduled to arrive at 10:00 AM. Please do not proceed to the terminal until 1:30 PM since we will be busy saying good-bye to our guests.
For your comfort and convenience, we suggest you visit the local Regency Mall located 8 miles from the terminal (address and link below) where you can take advantage of a variety of dining and shopping venues while you wait. We expect boarding to take place between 1:30 - 5:30 PM.

Due to our late arrival and tidal conditions expected Monday afternoon, we will need to delay our departure in order to once again safely clear the Dames Point Bridge on our way out. We are now scheduled to sail at 9:00 PM. The good news is that we do not anticipate any impact to our scheduled itinerary at this time.

From what I understand, the Camp Carnival and Arcade sections were damaged slightly. The Arcade is currently closed to passengers and the Camp Carnival activities have been relocated as needed.

To a certain extent, some of these passengers get an extra day on their cruise. Hopefully, they'll all disembark with a good Carnival vibe.
