    5-nights include Nassau & Freeport

6-nights include Nassau, Freeport, & Key West

7-nights include Grand Turk, Nassau, and Half Moon Cay

Carnival has only one cruise calling at Bermuda for all of 2012, Pete. It is disappointing news for the Politicians in Bermuda. I keep getting emails about it on my Droid.

At this time for anyone wanting to take an ocean cruise out of Charleston ... Carnival Fantasy is "the only boat in town" with the options of either the Bahamas or Bermuda. Longest cruises for both are 6 days.
I've never been to Bermuda, but I've been to the Bahamas umpteen times on 2, & 3 night cruises from Ft Lauderdale & Miami.

Yep, and we've got the ship! The Carnival Pride out of Baltimore is the ONLY Carnival ship going to Bermuda. And it is only going there ONCE during all of 2012. Go figure!

While RCCL is going there on a regular basis, they only have two ships, the Explorer of the Seas out of Bayonne, NJ and the Enchantment of the Seas out of Baltimore.

Celebrity only has the Summit out of Bayonne many times.

Princess only has the Caribbean Princess doing the port once in 2012.

But NCL has the most ships and the most visits.

It's a lovely port, especially if you're a golfer!! But the beaches are very nice, the people are wonderful, the scuba diving is awesome, and the island is definitely worth a visit.

Just don't understand why more cruise lines don't go there more often, especially when you figure the alternative is Nassau or Freeport!

Yes, the Pride is the only ship making that one call to Bermuda.

Pete, another email I received states that Carnival did not sign a contract with the Tourism Ministry in Bermuda, just an email agreement, which strikes me as odd. That's not the norm as far as I know. Carnival, according to the email has apologised for the sudden decision.

Carnival Fantasy will NOT be offering cruises to Bermuda out of Charleston in 2012 like they did in 2011 ... so taking a Bermuda cruise from there is no longer an option.
    LuLu ...
