Thread: Tables for 2 that really aren't!

It's not just Carnival, they have them on Cunard as well. I guess it's just a way of saving space.

I've been on 3 Carnival cruises, and about to go on my 4th this December. I've never noticed that on the ships we've been on thus far (Inspiration, Fascination, & Liberty).

Jen .... You got lucky! Look again the next time you're on Fascination.

Will do LuLu. We were at a pretty big table so with not actually sitting at one of those small tables, I probably didn't notice how tight they were.

Jen .... Those big tables are great! Love it when we're seated at one to share with others. We especially like the big round ones.

It's just that the tables for 2 and 4 in some locations (not all) in the MDR are too close to walk between and where doing so was never intended. Doesn't bother us but sure it does some.

On the Liberty we were at a table to 2 that was inches from the next table for 2. the four of us got along very well and acted more like it was a table for 4. We don' want a table for 2 so this definitely did not bother us.

Same here, Nancy! We don't want a table for 2 so it suited us fine!

Also, thanks for confirming they REALLY were only 2" apart.
