Pride wins hands down over Triumph class.

The problem with Triumph class is only one buffet area, which is way too crowded. Conquest, they doubled the buffet area when they saw it didnt work on Triumph class.

If the vote were between spirit class and triumph class, I bet 8 or 9 out of 10 would pick spirit class.

Spirit class has better space ratio and more glass.

As with any cruise, it really depends on what you want (food, service, quality), where you want to go, what's most important to you (price versus itinerary), what your main purpose is for taking the cruise, how much you want to spend, when you want to go, type of cabin, etc, etc.

Remember, opinions are like bellybuttons - everyone has one. And what one person loves, another will hate and vice versa.

Sometimes you may find that you really want to do a particular ship, but the price is higher than another ship with a different itinerary. Makes it difficult because then you have to decide which is more important; price or itinerary?

You might also want to look at other cruise lines. Sometimes spending just a little bit more can result in a much better experience. For example, I'm the type that would rather buy an inside cabin on a ship and itinerary I really want to do than get a balcony on a ship and itinerary I really didn't want. In other words, I'm willing to give up one thing to get another. But that's me - we're all different.

So the best advice is to consider all your options, look at the itineraries, look at the price, consider the ship, do your homework, and decide on what's best for you.

Victory IS a few hundred dollars more than Pride, but if I had to say, it would be more worth it because Victory visits more exotic ports of call, not to mention by the time the cruise it taken, I still will have not done any of the ports, while I'll have done all the ports Pride does.

I'm also worried if I would like Pride, as I enjoy the Vegas-look, which Pride does not have, and Pride I hear if more of a relaxing quiet ship - and I like action and excitement.

But hey, that's just my personal opinion. What matters is what you want to do.

Hi Pete, we're going on the Victory next April on same itinerary. What was it about St Kitts that you didn't seem to care for? Having a hard time finding something interesting there to do.
    thanks

It wasn't bad - don't get me wrong. It was fine, but just not alot to do. There are some things to do; we just didn't find alot we were interested in. You may find it to your liking.

I do not suggest the little railroad - not worth the time or money. If you want to do a tour around the island, just take a taxi - better for sure.

The last time we were there, they had finished the new area around the pier, which was much nicer than it use to be.

There are some nice resorts on the other side of the island, especially the Marriott, with some great beaches.

The government use to subsidize the sugar cane industry, so there was alot on the island. But in recent years, they realized their money would be better spent on tourism, so they've made alot of changes supporting this initiative. You may really like it, so don't go there thinking you won't. After all, we've never been to a port that we hated; just that some are better than others.

You can do an excursion to Nevis, but not much to do there, either.
