Thread: What made you decide to give Carnival a try?

For me, it was the itinerary initially, but I would definitely cruise Carnival again. We loved the waterslides, activities and service.

It was all about money. We had no point of reference relative to the design of the ship, the decor, or the clientel, so to us at the time the difference in price was hard to quantify. Now that we have cruised with Carnival 6 times, we can't think of a strong reason to change, with the minor fear that Fromal Nights are going away (as I mentioned in my post earlier). I am intrigued by the Royal Carribean ships unique design, and I can see us cruising with them out of curiosity.
