"Your Time Dining" works great for us on Carnival! We totally love the flex of having dinner at different times each evening!

We book late traditional on Carnival and I have that scheduled for our next one in May.
We are thinking about changing it to Your Time but have not made the final decision yet.

We always book Late (Traditional). We do this because we are far too active during the day to stop and sit down and eat. We are much more able to sit and relax at night.

When I booked a set time I book early as I like doing a lot after dinner and I enjoy eating early, but I booked anytime last time and prefer it because some days when on excursions we don't have to rush back to get ready for dinner and days when we have a late lunch we can eat later.

Since Carnival instituted Your Time Dining, we select Traditional Late Dining on the Imagination. Otherwise, we prefer Open dining on longer cruises.

We've done both the early and late seating. We prefer the early... late was just too late and all I wanted to do was go to bed afterwards with a full tummy. We haven't tried the anytime dining yet. We really enjoy having the same wait staff every night, and I'm guessing with the anytime dining you don't get that? Correct me if I'm wrong.

We are late dining people. We enjoy taking our time after getting back on the ship, and having time to get ready for dinner AND have a pre-dinner drink. If it's formal night, we may miss the drink. And even though we aren't really traditional people, we do enjoy having the same table, same waiters and same dinner companions every night.

We like early dining, because of my DH's acid reflux. We'd have to stay up REALLY late to avoid any problems. It also leaves more time to do other things in the evening, especially trying to find a decent seat for the entertainment in the main showroom. But.........sitting through bingo to wait while claiming a seat which has no obstruction (like a post)........that's another story!

We are still into Traditional Late for our next cruise, which is with Carnival. We have a B2B booked for New Year on the HAL Ryndam and we are trying Your Time Dining.
