    Question Customer Satisfaction Survey?

    Has Carnival stopped doing the Post Cruise Customer Satisfaction Survey?

    The only thing we got at the end of our recent cruise was a "My Time Dining" Survey. I didn't think too much about it ... assuming it would be emailed like Princess now does. It's been over two weeks since our return ... no email from Carnival.

    Just wondering if this was an oversight or if they've been discontinued?

    Note: Last Thanksgiving one was left in our cabin.

    I am more interested if anyone has received real feedback from the answers they have given on the questionnaires. I have received positive feedback from some of the restaurant surveys that I have done, but I have never really gotten any real feedback from my ship responses.

    I did get a "sorry about that" from HAL on my Cruise From Hell on the Noordam, but it was more platitudes than real apologies. Hmm, come to think of it, it was about the same response level that I got while on ship.

    Neal, neither have I. It's probably a waste of my time to bother to fill them out.

    A long time ago (before email) when we were without power on the ship for three days, we got a form letter from Princess confirming in writing the 50% off our next cruise. We had already been given OBC, etc. while on the ship.

    We only got the dining survey as well...I think Carnival started sending surveys through email.

    We've been back since May 14th and have not been emailed anything from Carnival.

    When we returned from our February cruise on Princess, the survey had already been emailed to us ....

    YEs, Carnival doies do the email survey now and I have found that it can take a couple of months before you the survey. When I did get ours for our last cruise I actually complained about not getting one while on the ship and also about how long it took to get to me. I have also found out that sometimes because of the way they word the subject line it can go to your spam folder.

    It's only been a month and I do check my spam file to see what's there.

    No big time "whines" from us ... but I would like the opportunity to mention the names of a couple of the crew members who were especially nice to us.

    I think the cruise lines forget that the cards are also used for complements as well as complaints!
