Carnival is a good fit for me.

I like the activities, staterooms, food and crew friendliness and some what dislike the decor (Sensation's at least).

I didn't really mind our cruises on Carnival. But after being on Princess and having a mini-fridge in the cabin... Plus sometimes the flashing lights, etc., can get to me.

Carnival has ships out of Charleston and JAX which are convenient drives for us and makes us a lot more forgiving of the things we don't like very much about Carnival.

Well said, Lulu. The only thing that has us interested in Carnival is that they go out of Galveston. Wish Celebrity would come back!

I really do not know anymore. After a wild spring break cruise on Carnival back in 1994 we avoided them for many years. We decided to try them again but the cruise was canceled due to the fire onboard the Carnival Splendor. I have rebooked with them but that is not until May of 2012.

I had mini fridges on both my carnival cruises.

Carnival is a good fit for us because they have lots of trivia and other activities and we are not pool people. I think almost any cruise ship would be a good fit for me.
