Thread: Ceremony Marks First Significant Milestone for the Carnival Breeze

A ceremony at the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy yesterday marked a significant milestone in the ships construction when the first building block for the 3,690-passenger Carnival Breeze was put in place.

With about a year-and-half until the debut of the third ship in the line’s Dream class, the new 130,000-ton Carnival Breeze will offer a number of exciting innovations and features.

Set to debut in spring 2012, Carnival Breeze will be the 24^th vessel in Carnival Cruise Lines’ fleet.
