    I haven't seen a word about Allure.
I guess bad news is what captures everyone's interest.

OK .... I'll admit that I'm more interested in the passengers on Splendor than I am the arrival of Allure.

All day the news was about Splendor. Heck even Leno has been doing skits and dialogue on it. Nothing on the news here in NE Ohio about Allure

Not a word about the Allure out here. I am not surprised, there is really not much that is new about it anyway. The Oasis was a much bigger story.

Not a word about the Allure in the Washington, DC area - nothing in the paper or the local news.

Doesn't surprise me because that a positive story and the press only wants to tout all the negativity going on with the Splendor. Bad news sells.

I didn't see any coverage about the Allure either. Being in Florida you would think that it would be a big thing...but no...the spam ship was getting all the coverage.

All of the coverage in the Midwest was on the Splendor. I don't even know the story behind the Allure! My DH was more interested in the fact that the USS Ronald Reagan got involved. He called ME before I knew anything about it. I think all of the Boeing employees who work on fighter jets for the carrier were trying to determine the Navy's involvement. (LOL)

I, for one, am glad the RR got involved. After all, the Splendor was a perfect target for a rogue terrorist submarine!

I guess you have to be in the Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade County area. Quite a bit of Allure coverage down here, Char. I have Friday's Sun-Sentinel, saw the Miami Herald amd Palm Beach Post and a picture of the Giant ship is on the front page.
I was out there that morning watching the ship arrive, and the print media photographers, TV stations and a Radio station were out there.

I saw quite a bit on the Splendor, very little on the Allure. Disasters always score more of a hit on the media than does just a brand new ship- as impressive as she might be. Now put a mock fire on the Allure and you will get interest......
