Thread: What do MOST men wear on Carnival Elegant Evenings?

What do MOST men wear on Carnival Elegant Evenings?

Many of us haven't cruised on Carnival since it changed from Formal to Elegant Evenings where the suggested for men is dress pants and shirt ... with tux, suit, sports coat also welcomed.

What I'd really like to know is how MOST men dress on these evenings?

I picked dress pants and collared shirt, that's what I wore!

I think this is a chicks poll. I don't think most men know or care what others are wearing?

I wear a suit with long sleeve shirt and tie. Sometimes, I would not wear the jacket and tie on the second elegant evening.

Zydeco, I agree, I could care less what others are wearing.

I think that mens might wear something what be suit.

Zy and Ken .... Thanks for replying. You're both very right -- it is a chicks poll! The way my DH is dressed will determine the way I dress. I'll wear something much less dressy if he's in dress pants and collared shirt than I would if he were wearing his tux.

Also, seems like a waste to wag along his tux or suit if few were wearing that sort of thing....

My DH wore dress pants and collared shirt with tie. I think he wore the tie , maybe not. I do remember he had on pants and a shirt Oh well maybe we ought to go on another cruise real soon so I would know for sure.
