LuLu, it's basically VIP check in at the port. You don't have to be at Platinum level to get this. As long as you book a Suite, have access to VIP Check-in. Other than that, it's your luxurious stateroom, Juccuzi, separate sleeping area, walk-in closet double vanity sinks in the bathrooms with nicer decor.
Here are some pictures of a Category 12 Penthouse Suite, I believe it's now called the Ocean Suite, Category OS, on the Carnival Freedom. To the right of the 4th picture, is the short hallway to the bathroom.
1. View of the Suite on entering
2. Bed
3. Convertable sofa, bar. There is a small table and two chairs(one seen in frame).
4. Flat panel TV, Safe, and fridge.
5. TV, Closets & drawers, view toward bathroom.
