Have you checked into renting a car to get to the port? We're thinking about doing that. Haven't checked it out yet...cause we have a loonnng way to go.

We stayed in Cocoa Beach so we had a short transfer in the morning. I believe we used Cocoa Beach Shuttle to get there.

Another option for you might be to go back to the airport in the morning and catch Mears from there.

    MCO transfers to Port Canaveral

I usually recommend Cocoa Beach Shuttle for MCO transfers to Port Canaveral. They were a service I used a lot when I ran a hotel near Port Canaveral.

I think you might want to rent a car to Port Canaveral. You just have to use a company that has drop off service in Port Canaveral, which is either Avis, Dollar, Budget, Hertz, Enterprise or Thrifty. They all have free shuttle to the port too.

When we cruise out of Port Canaveral we rent a care at the airport and then are able to return it to their drop off point near the port and catch their shuttle to the port. Have never had an issue with doing it this way, and have used both Avis and Hertz. One time most of our party was dropped at the port, then the driver took our rental back to the drop off point and took the shuttle back tot he port.

We enjoy the freedom of the rental car as we always get in a day early and this allows us to see and go to the different beach areas located in Cocoa Beach.

I see you're booked with one of the companies we use, so that's good. I'll post that one and two others here for the benefit of others.

    1. Around The Clock USA, provides shuttle service from MCO and surrounding hotels to and from Port Canaveral. Their website is Orlando Airport Shuttle to Port Canaveral and Cocoa Beach

    2. Basik Shuttle: operates Town Cars, stretch limos and 15 passenger vans providing hotel airport and cruise shuttle service from MCO to Port Canaveral. Their website is: Orlando Airport Transportation : Port Canaveral Transportation : Disney Transportation - BasikShuttle.com

3.Port Canaveral Shuttle, aka A1 Elite Transportation: Provides shuttle service from hotels to Port Canaveral. Their website is: Port Canaveral Disney Royal Caribbean Carnival Orlando cruise transportation

These are the companies many travel agents use.
