I have sailed the Glory. She is a wonderfull ship. Very colorful in decor. Not loud or tacky but very nice Everything about the glory was great. The food and service were wonderful. We enjoyed the entertainment. Great cruise. I hope you enjoy it as we did.

Talking Cruising Carnival

Will be fun to cruise on The Spirit in January, after 30 years not cruising on Carnival........My Partner and I (his first cruise) will be on The Zaandam in October to Hawaii; then on The Spirit to Mexico - - sure will be interesting to see the two different lines/ships.....and see his impression of both!

We just sailed our first Carnival cruise on the Miracle in June. We came home and about a month later, booked a cruise for June 2009 on the Splendor. I guess you could say we liked Carnival.

Hi John,
I had a group that sailed on the Spirit last November and we had a great time!!! I made a thread about "All Things Spirit" and you can find a lot of info on it. I brought it to the top to make it easier for you to find. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me.

My name is Marci - I'm from Idaho where the Potatoes are BIG and cruises are EXOTIC!!

We cruised on Liberty Jan 1, '06. She was still pretty new - LOVED IT. Had a balcony; will NEVER go without a BALCONY again!! Loved the food...Loved the service...Loved the stops. The only 2 things I didn't love was 1. Other passengers that were clueless about manners and proper etiquette and 2. It ended too soon.

We are setting sail on LEGEND Nov 2 and am looking forward to another great trip. Again, a balcony (AFT) and not worried about bringing a fan for air circulation in NOVEMBER! LOL

We have not cruised with another company, and for now, Carnival not only meets, but exceeds our expectations. So, for now, Carnival is KING! (we dont get out much...LOL)

My first look at Cruise Critic, Took a Carnival Glory Cruise Sept 6, 08 and had a great time. Our only complete was the layout of the ship. It was the end of the week before we could get around comfortably.

Hi Chica and welcome to Cruise Line Fans. This is a wonderful and very friendly forum and I'm sure if you browse around, you'll find tons of great information about the ships, ports and anything else you want to know. If you can't find the answer, just ask and I'm sure one of the friendly members or guides will jump in and help you find the answer.

If you get the chance, go on over to the Introduce Yourself section and let people know you are here. I'm sure they'll love to get to know you.

I've sailed Carnival several times and my biggest frustration was on some ships it' like you can't get to one place from somewhere on the same deck without going up or down a deck. It's like you can't get there from here. LOL I eventually got used to it and went up or down before I got to the deck and I was fine. My first "real" cruise was on the Destiny and one of my greatest times was waiting and watching my Mom and sister when we got off an elevator to see which way they would go. LOL They were only right about 25% of the time. LOL It got to be a game and they would whisper back and forth trying to decide. I still have fun with that. LOL

DH and I cruised on the Legend in April 06 and had an awesome time! Loved the ship and Carnival. It was fun, They play games on sea days etc, but certainly not out of control partying at all! We like the Legend so much we are book on her sister ship the Miracle in December - can't wait! We cruised Norwegian and liked Carnival better - free pop and ice cream on the Lido deck!
