Lots of things come to mind, but it's probibly a tie between the FOOD & the PIANO BAR! Just being able to relax, not have to drive or fly everywhere, and the people. Most of the folks were happy and having fun. They seem to be more open to friendship then. Of course you have those who wouldn't be happy if you handed them a million dollors, but I just ignore people like that, hoping they get too close to the rail....accidentally of course.
Oh GOD!

LOL...very true. I just don't understand those people; I would say my mother-in-law is that person...at our wedding on the Valor, she was upset because her chair in the reception didn't have arm rests
Because everything else went perfect so that was the best thing she could come up with to complain about..I was just thankful she decided to cancel going on the cruise last minute...so she left immediately after the reception
I am also new to CLF (Joined Yesterday) but have had good times already.
I too am a CARNIVAL FAN! I like the mix of people you find, and the price ain't bad either.
I've only taken one other cruise( Carnival Legend - Sept 2006), can't wait for my upcoming cruise with my DW (Marie) on the Carnival Valor - Nov. 15, 2009. This will be our 10th Anniversary Cruise, and we are hoping for a very special time together.

Hi Chuck,
We are newbie cruisers and new CFL members. We have only 5 cruises under our belts and all five have been with Carnival so I'm guessing it is safe to say we love Carnival.
Sorry about the lack of a signature block: that particular portion of the User CP does not seem to be working at the moment (cannot change font colours and the save feature does not work) so I will try again later.
I've been on CLF for about a month, but just read this thread. Yep, I can be a bit slow
Tammy & I are new to cruising, our first was on the Carnival Legend June 1st of last year doing a 7 day Western Caribbean Itinerary. We had an absolutely wonderful time & were hooked on cruising. We are booked on the Carnival Glory May 23rd for a 7 day Eastern Caribbean cruise & we CAN'T WAIT! We're actually leaving Thursday, so it's only 2 days
We like Carnival, because we feel it provides good value for the money & fits our personality well. The Legend was beautiful & well maintained, the process of handling the 2000+ passengers was smooth, the food was pretty good & the atmosphere was relaxed, comfortable & casual. our balcony cabin was beautiful, the view was great & the only complaint that I have is that it wasn't longer
