    Combined Conquest roll call

How about a combined Conquest roll call.I was noticing there were so many with no replies, that maybe we could just pass the time together while waiting.I have been on the Conquest once and would be glad to answer any questions if I can.We will be on the Nov.2nd sailing,

This is a great idea Collin. I hope your fellow Conquestedors see this.

Maybe we need to figure out a spot and start leaving things for each other on the ship if there's no one else from these boards on board on our own sailing. Kind of like a secret door, but just for CLF members.

    This is a great idea.

Sort of a Conquest fan club.

It might even generate some interest in changing dates
    so members could sail together.

Collin, your B2B Spirit Hawaii Alaska cruise sounds awesome.
You'll certainly be challenged as far as packing.

Tell me about it! As if it wasn't tough enough, now we need to take into consideration the extra baggage fees on airlines.Hey,whatever it takes.

Just an idea and don't really know how it would work.
Maybe you could take with you what you need for the Hawaii cruise
and ship the Alaska stuff to Vancouver. In Vancouver you could pick up your Alaska clothes and ship your Hawaii clothes home.

    Hi Collin,

We will be a year behind you, 11/08/09. It will be our 2nd time on the Conquest also. When did you go the first time?

Ooops, I guess I should have looked at your signature. Our first was in Dec. 2005.

Sounds like a good idea to me. I would like to meet some of the people I have been posting to if they are on the 1/4/09 cruise. We could also give each other updates on the condition of Galveston.

There's a good point. I'm sailing on the Conquest November 30, like I said above. Carnival is still operating under the delusion that Galveston will be operational in time. I don't know if I'm ready to believe them. DH and I are making preparations as if we are leaving from Houston. On one hand, we hope to leave from Houston just so we can see the new terminal. On the other hand, moving back to Galveston will be nice because the parking is cheaper there. If EZ Cruise doesn't come back and charge more to recoup their losses from Ike. I heard they lost their shuttle buses.

But considering how long Carnival kept telling us that the Ecstasy and the Conquest would be sailing back into Galveston on time, somehow, I just think someone in their PR department really is delusional.

Ges, I just read that the Port of Galveston cruise terminal with be opening back up on 11/1/09, so it looks like you won't get to see the new terminal after all.
