The Carnival Celebration has now completed her last 5 day sailing from Jacksonville, Florida. As of the end of that voyage (which ended several days ago) the Celebration is no longer a part ofo the main Carnival fleet.
She is to be refurbished, and will be transferred to Iberiocruceros (in Spain), where she will do Med cruises. Her new name will be GRAND CELEBRATION.
The Carnival Fascination will move to Jacksonville in September of this year, assuming the itineraries of the former Carnival Celebration.
Carnival is slowly phasing out its older ships. Personally compared to the newer ships, the Celebration is very dated.
