Excursions Next Week

My cruise leaves Sunday. We are going to Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Montego Bay, and Princess Cay. I am going to wait until we get to each island to book an excursion. I know I want to go swim with the Stingrays in Grand Cayman, but would like a couple of suggestions as to companies use. Also, can you guys give me the names of companies you recommend for excursions? Dont know what to do and which companies to use. thanks!

If you already know that you definately want to swim with the stingrays, I believe it would be beneficial to book the excursion ASAP and not wait until you get to the port.

I believe the excursions are first come/first served and if you wait too long, you may miss out on something you really wanted to do.

jeffs .... As long as you are not taking the midgets and that pony , my big suggestion is to do the stingray thing via a catamaran.

We've done this twice. The first time with Capt. Marvin's and the last through the cruise line on the Cockatoo Catarman. Really, enjoyed the catamaran much more. While we've seen all of the stingrays we care to in this lifetime .... IF we were to do it again, we'd consider BUCCANEER because they use catamarans and have a cash bar. A drink on the return would have been very welcomed!

Agree with sweet angel ... when you KNOW what you want to do, it's normally best to book it in advance.

Whatever ... those stingray are almost TOO friendly and will follow you around like puppies! Don't return with a stingray "hickie"!

In Cozumel, there are a lot of things to do when you get there. But as others have mentioned, It is a first come first serve. In Grand Cayman, I would book the Stingray City through the ship. On our cruise in Jan/Feb, friends of our went through a private company and they ended up missing it. The tour bus left early. So I would book through the ship. Just in case.

I haven't been to the other places, So I can't recomend what to do. We have been to Ochos Rios and have done Dunn's River Falls and the Mountain Bike Island Tour. Both worth it.

Good luck and have a blast!

In Grand Cayman, we used Captain Bryan's Buccaneer http://caymanislandsdiscounts.com/St..._Excursion.htm for our SRCity excursion. They were wonderful!

In Cozumel we first went to Paradise Beach and then went on a SNUBA/snorkel excursion. http://www.cozumelcruiseexcursions.c...gExcursion.htm Our friends' son said that it was the best day of his life!

Check out some of my pictures for those ports: http://community.webshots.com/user/Sheffie100

Have fun planning!
