I found this article online. Since there was no listed author, I could not add it to the CLF Article archive, but that's no reason for everyone to miss out!

Check this out for what to buy in Aruba, Barbados, The Caymans, Curacao, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, St. Maarten/St. Martin (the two territories share one island), St. Thomas and St. Croix.

For those of you who might be interested:
Aruba, Curacao and St. Maarten are Dutch.
Barbados, the Dominican Republic and Jamaica are independent countries.
(Barbados and Jamaica are members of the Commonwealth of Nations, formerly known as the British Commonwealth.)
The Caymans are British.
Puerto Rico, St. Thomas and St. Croix are US territories.
St. Martin is French.

MCc .... Nice thread!

Would like to add on Curacao that a couple on regular stores on the main shopping street (not a flea market of back alley) carry the best "Knock Off" purses I've ever seen. Would also like to note that while it may be perfectly legal for them to be SOLD there ... it may not be totally legal to bring them back to the US.
Very tempting though!

Thanks MC, I agree about Jamica, but I was able to find some very good deals at the shopping center across the street from Charlotte Amile
