Thread: Which cruise line would you recommend for cruising the Caribbean for the first time?

My wife and I sailed Carnival for a 5-day in the Caribbean in November - our first Carnival and our last. The often-heard term for Carnival as "the WalMart of cruiselines" was exactly what we saw. Everything on the cheap, unprofessional crew and a lot of trailer-trash guests. We've also sailed RCI, HAL, Celebrity, Princess and Costa - for "fun" on a beautiful ship it's hard to beat RCI, particularly on the Radiance class (I'm 60, my wife is 46).

And then here is my 2 cents. RC Radiance class or Princess . Both have fun things for us adults to do and not a lot of the younger drinking crowd that tends to make us cranky.
