What is your favorite Southern Caribbean Port? WHY?

I've heard a number of folks say they didn't particularlly care for Antigua. But, of the Southern Caribbean ports I've visited, Antigua was my favorite. There's quite a few I haven't had the honor of visiting,, though. That makes me curious to find out what the real faborites are in the general vacinity of the Southern Caribbean.

Which of the ports down thataway do you favor?

NOTE:
More ports are isted in part two of the poll. Here's the link: http://www.cruiselinefans.com/caribb...bean-port.html (Part 2 - Favorite Soutern Caribbean Port...)

OH, and please, if you wouldn't mind... won't you tell me why you picked the one you did? What is it about that particular place that makes it your favorite?

What was special about it, or what did you do or see there that made it especially memorable?

We have only been to two of the S. Caribbean ports, so I voted for the one I liked the best which was Aruba. We had such a lovely time on a sunset catamaran sail! So lovely that when we got back to the ship, I picked up the phone (at $9 per minute) and called work to brag. But maybe it was those drinks onboard that made it so good

Aruba is our absolute favoite of the Southern port stops! The beautiful blue water is wonderful and always warm when we cruise there is Jan-Feb. Everything we like to do, we can do in Aruba!

Rather hard decision because we also LOVE Antigua, Barbados, Grenada, and Bonaire!

Never unhappy to go to Curacao, Martinique or St.Kitts.

Dominica, we've never enjoyed ... BUT rather go there than to Guadeloupe!

My Signature LuLu ...
