Frank & his wife Tammy own this business in St. John/St. Thomas. It is called Virgin Island Snuba or VI Snuba. I had a panic attack that I didn't think I could do this once we got in the water & started staying below the surface for a while. Frank took so much time teaching us what to do & allowing us to work thru the urge to surface for "real air". He taught us so much about how to "hover", how to pop our ears, & how to clear our masks. He "inched" us down the ocean until we were comfortable to swim out to the reef. There was only 6 of us in our group. So, he keeps the groups small. And we stayed down for 35 minutes. That particular day there wasn't much fish, but we did see a small flounder, & found a sand dollar, & some of the snappers & striped fish that you see when you snorkel. It was such a great experience! The tour took more than 35 minutes because he took so much time teaching us, & getting the proper equipment for each one of us.
