Nevis: Montpelier Plantation forms partnership to strengthen brand
06/01/2007
In marketing moves designed to strengthen the Montpelier brand, the 17-room Montpelier Plantation Inn on Nevis created a management firm and formed a partnership with Simplicity International, a luxury real estate development company.
Montpelier Management and Simplicity will provide management services to the Tamarind Cove estate home development project on the northwestern coast of Nevis, scheduled for completion in July 2009.
Enclave at Tamarind Cove, described as an exclusive community of 10 beachfront estate homes of four and five bedrooms each, will include a reception house, fitness center, library lounge, tennis court, and a beach clubhouse with a bar, verandah and catering kitchen.
Montpelier Management will provide for the maintenance of each home with services such as a caretaker, gardeners, airport shuttle and a la carte items including child care, housekeeping, and a concierge.
Timothy Hoffman, owner/manager of Montpelier Plantation Inn, said that "We are excited by the long-term prospects of both of these initiatives [Montpelier Management and Simplicity International] for Montpelier Plantation Inn and the natural extension of the Montpelier brand that they represent."
He said the new estate homes offer his guests a transition "into ownership, a means to live the Nevisian lifestyle without sacrificing the signature service they expect from Montpelier Plantation Inn."
Prices for each estate home in the Enclave at Tamarind Cove will begin at $3.35 million.
