    Caribbean Ports

My wife and I are on Jewel of the Sea in February calling at KW, Coz, Costa Maya and GC.
Our thoughts for excursions and activities are as follows, bearing in mind that we are not beach type people. It will be our first time in the ports:
Key West - I think we'll do this on foot, or jump on the Conch Train.
    Cozumel - Undecided.
Costa Maya - Already booked the Chaccoben Ruins Tour with David & Ivan.
Grand Cayman - I thought we would simply rent a car for the day and drive out to Rum Point, stoppping along the way if we see anything interesting.
I'd appreciate your thoughts and suggestions from your past experiences. We are open to all ideas

Hi Colin, Welcome CLF, we're glad you found us. In Grand Caymen they have the swimming with stingrays if you are into that. I believe that is also where the turtle farm is and the town named Hell that everyone sends postcards from The stingrays are the one thing everyone seems to really rave about. I've done it, also. In Cozumel we went deepsea fishing but for what you spend it can be pretty disappointing. When we went, out of 8 boats only 2 fish were caught, one on our boat and it was only a small tuna. When we are there in Oct we are going to the beach. A good way to look at all the excursions available in each port is to look online at the shiplines websites. They are all listing them with a description. It gives you a pretty good idea of what is available in each port.

We did the trolley tour in Key West (not sure if that's the couch train). It allows you to get off at a stop and sight see and then get on another trolley at the same stop.
