Tenders?
I was wondering....
We'll be sailing the
Caribbean Princess and stopping in Grand Cayman, Ocho Rios and Cozumel. Does the ship go right to the dock or will be use tenders in any of the ports? Just curious!

It depends on the time they arrive, and how many ships are in port that day!!!! First ships in, dock!!

Hi Luann, More than likely, you will dock at the pier at Cozumel and Ocho Rios. Grand Caymen will be a tender port. Sue, is right however. If there are several ships in port, you may have to tender at another one.

I would use
http://www.cruisecal.com/dnn/ to find out what ships will be in port on the day you arrive. Grand Cayman-as others said all ships tender, Ocho Rios- has space for 3 ships at their docks and Cozumel-all depends on how well they do on replacing docks destroyed in Hurricane. Also berthing assignments are usually assigned a head of time so "First ships in, dock is not always true.

Cozumel
Chances are, since you are on Princess, you will also tender in Cozumel. The only dock that was usable (as of last week) was the one that Royal Caribbean paid to repair...
