I've gone snorkeling in Jamaica for everytime I've been there...never seen a shark.

Have never seen a SHARK while snorkeling in the East, West, or South Caribbean!

(Once, a Nurse Shark ... but, don't think that counts ....)

Saw one in the Florida Keys (not Key West) once. Watched it take a stringer of fish that was hanging off the pier

Hoping too

Going snorkling with Stuart Cove in Nassau. And if time allows we will swim with the sharks. I will accept the responsibility to hold the bait box....


I am pumped now but ask me in 40 days if I really swam with them....

I have heard you can swim with them in Belize,, I think. Nurse Sharks? Not sure what type that is but shark is shark right?

I believe you're right that they are nurse sharks, but I have to disagree with you....swimming with a Mako or a Great White would be A LOT different than swimming with a nurse shark!

Nurse sharks aren't nearly as large or as dangerous!

Sorry, swimming with sharks is no fun on vacation.:thumbsdow
Heck, for 25 years I worked with attorneys everyday, why would I want to swim with them???
