Princess 2010 summer Caribbean cruises released

Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

That's interesting! Except the one from NY, Princess normally moves its ship away from the Caribbean in the summer!

Sounds like they're meeting a demand from the many who would love to cruise to the Caribbean with their children when school is out!

    Good for Princess!

Yes and less expensive sailing close to home

I was thinking that too. They are probably getting plenty of requests for summer Caribbean cruises. It looks like the winter Caribbean, winter Mexican Riviera and the Exotics (Hawaii, South Pacific, Asia, Australia/New Zealand, and the South American cruises) routes are left to announce. Waiting impatiently.

Love that Emerald Princess with be offering alternating 7-night East-West Caribbean cruises out of Ft.Lauderdale!

They could be combined to make a perfect B2B cruise!

What you are missing is that there have been very few Caribbean cruises sailing out of the Florida ports in the summer.

Most ships have repositioned to either Alaska or to Europe. Several lines are keeping more ships closer to home during the summer months and are giving the Caribbean itineraries a chance during hurricane season.

The cost of European cruises and airfare in the current economic environment has caused the change. Did you notice Carnival left the Freedom and Liberty at home this year? Only the Dream will be in Europe this year.
