you'll be coming off and we'll be going on, "ships passing in the night" haha. going on the 5/3 sailing. what deck/cabin? be real funny if in ours. your cruise will be the 1st one after a 2 or 3 wk private booking on this ship. from what I understand,it's being used for a movie most of the mo of April. we had booked the week before yours and got "bumped" off of it cause of this movie production crew. be interesting to hear what condition it's in after that.

We'll be staying on the CARIBE deck...

I read about that(the private booking)...I thought it was for some government seminar or something...So it's being used for a movie production those few weeks?...

we've been wondering if they're making a movie about that honeymoon couple where the husband fell off his balcony, a few years ago. it was big news for awhile then just disappeared. guess we'll find out prob by summer or end of year, when it comes out. at 1st, till I called Princess, thought some middle-east billionaire had rented it. ha. who else has the money to book a whole cruise ship for 3 wks ???? besides the loss of $ for the cabins, think of the revenue they lost w/ the casinos, drinks , spec. restaurants, etc !! so you know this didn't come cheap for the movie company, Princess had to make this money up somehow.

We will be there...celebrating our 30th anniversary...deals too good to pass up, even in this economy...can't wait!

Hi are you getting anxious yet? Don"t know if know this but your cruise is sold out so going to have a full ship !! But have heard that she's so big you never notice that many people are on it.

we have another member here leaving this wknd on her, lucky them !! It will be our time soon,4 wks for you and 5 for us.

Definitely getting excited...

you might just be right about this, saw on another post here that there is a summit in Trinidad next mo for 3 wks. and our ship & a Carnival one is being used. I was told by Princess rep that a movie co was using it,maybe they weren't allowed to give out the summit info?

so you & another person here wiil be 1st ones sailing on her after that. she'll be well rested. haha....

Let's see...government booking...so that means they will be out of cigars, expensive bottles of wine, and the entire ship will have been redecorated by refugees from AIG, hiding out in Trinidad?
