Thread: caribbean princess 5/3/09

tried this before but no-one seems to be going on this sailing. Caribbean Princess 5/3/09. giving it another try. be nice to know. know she's been in dry dock being refurbished during Jan. so should be looking real nice.

Not going till October on the Emerald but you will love her. 24/7 buffets, pools, hot tubs, Aft pool is adult only. I love Princess

thanks. like the idea of quiet adult only pools. not sure how many children will be on this trip, it's during school. but never know. got some good info @ the new sanctuary on another post. looks gorgeous,but is it worth the extra cost ?? have to see. love this site for all it's friendliness and great info. 1st time on Princess. loved RCCL, was on the Jewel of the Seas four mos. after her inaugural sailing. what a beauty!! but always go on vac. w/ the thought, that it's what we make of the vac not the the places or people. go with the idea am going to have a good time and enjoy no matter what.

well as it's getting closer to sailing time, and no-one has responded. will hazard a guess here and say that am the only CLFer going on this cruise. would have been nice to have met someone from here. maybe next time.

Hi Debbie. You sound as discouraged as I feel. Less than two months and no one. I am on another board and it is just as bad there on my roll call. It seems people who cruise Princess don`t do the boards. Not as many anyway. The Dawn board I was on didn`thave many active ones anyway.

Sure hope your crise is wonderful.

Hi, yes doesn't look like anyone is going on our cruise but seems to be one going on the week before ours. BUT because of this board, we have met and get to "talk" about cameras, compare surgeries, ha, families etc and now I'll be able to tell you all about the "new" ship before you go on her. so something good came of it.

John, keep on keeping on! One of these days there will be lots of roll calls that will be full to overflowing like the Owls cruises!

I will. We Owls are known for hanging on. I`m one of the older members from the time on CC even. Can`t count the years on both sites.

Good morning John, checking in to see how you both are doing. Hope you had a good week-end. Ours was busy and now till we cruise on 5/3, we have no free wknds. one member, Sungold, left this wknd on the Caribbean Princess, so when she gets back will be able to get some idea of what the ship is like w/all the refurbishing etc. Went over to Cruise critics to check it out and some of the reviews on this ship weren't encouraging. They really knocked it down, food, public places, service etc. I take all reviews objectively, everyone goes on cruises with diff hopes and ideas. To us, its what you make it and what your expectations are.

there are 2 others who have just joined in here that are cruising on her in April, Skai and Pandosu, they're going week before us, so getting off same day we're getting on. but hopefully they'll put a report up here for you to see when they get back. so site is getting busy all of a sudden.

Has to mean there is hope someone will be on your cruise !! since it's still a ways away. Prob be getting people on here like now, the month before.
