Thread: Vancouver Island

I am totally confused about this place. Is it really an island? Is it in Vancouver itself or a seperate town? I found a Moon book called Victoria and Vancouver Island. Is it accessible without a private car? If anything there is worth seeing I want to know if I can get to it without driving.

Yes it's a real island! In fact quite a large island. With Victoria being one of the most visited cities by toursits. You need to get there by Ferry or airplane.

It looks like there are two ferry lines to take me there. I will get on the island somehow because Butchart Gardens is there.
