Enjoy the best that Boston and the surrounding area has to offer. This tour encompasses the highlights of the city as well as a scenic drive to the historic battlefields of Lexington and Concord. Enjoy a scenic drive to the outskirts of Boston to discover the historic battlefields of Lexington and Concord. A visit will be made to the Lexington Green, where Paul Revere rode on his midnight ride to warn the Minutemen that the British were coming. Continuing to Concord and the Old North Bridge, you will see where the British were confronted by 400 minutemen, and the first full battle of the Revolution began as the "shot heard round the world" was fired. Your return route will take you through Cambridge where you will have an opportunity to stroll past the hallowed halls of America’s oldest and most prestigious university.
Lunch will be served at the historic Union Oyster House followed by a tour of Boston’s most important and scenic sites. Highlights include Copley Square, Trinity Church, the Boston Public Library, Newbury Street, the Public Garden, Boston Common, Beacon Hill and the Massachusetts State House. You will enjoy a visit to the Old North Church where Paul Revere ordered two lanterns hung in the steeple to signal that the British Redcoats were on the move. Passing the Charlestown Navy Yard, you will catch a glimpse of the USS Constitution, better known as “Old Ironsides”.
Note – Sites seen on the city tour will vary according to traffic conditions.
