The Vanderbuilts never entered the third floor where the servants lived. You can't see the third floor windows from the exterior.

Here is a side view of the Marble house. They tried to hide the house from view during construction. There was someone that posed as a worker and took pictures.

Here is a picture of the Cliff Walk from the grounds of the Marble House. The big roof in the far left of the picture where it meets sky is the roof of The Breakers.

Here is a another shot of the cliff walk from the grounds. It walks right on the cliff behind the mansions. I have more from different viewpoints. I will locate the disk and up load later. The fence you can see where grass meets ocean is between the cliff walk and the grounds.

At this point of the cliff walk it walks under the area of land where the tea house is located.

The Marriott is right downtown. It is next to the public transportation terminal. It is across from Thames street.

There are many lighthouses. They are everywhere. Here is the one on Goat Island. You can see the Newport Pell Bridge in the background.

Belcourt Castle is the only Newport Mansion where the owners still live in residence and open their home for the public to enjoy the beauty of a Richard Morris Hunt masterpiece. The tour is one of the best guided tours that Newport has to offer today.
