Cape Cod Canal

At 7:00 PM (EST) the History Channel ran (reran) the program about the Cape Cod Canal. Our September 2003 cruise from Baltimore to new England and Canada went through both the Cape Cod Canal and the Chesapeake-Delaware Canal. The transit of the Cape Cod Canal was a daylight transit, with our arrival in Cape Cod Bay just at sunset. That's my First Mate and me in the second picture.

Thanks Larry for the pictures, I miss the canal so much!! We had a condo in Hyannis and used to sit on the banks just to watch!!

My Signature Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

Thanks, Seamus. I had watched that site a lot before and right after our cruise, but had forgotten about it.
