LOL...I think it's so funny how you write razzing posts about her...but when we write razzing posts about others, how fast you defend them (including yourself!)....see?? You're guilty of it too!!

About ten years ago I remember whenever we were going to Santa Monica on San Vicente Blvd., we would see tour bus after tour bus turning north to go up to OJ's street. Jeez, there's more interesting places to see. and that's right about not really seeing much from a bus. I've been on city tours of Washington DC and NYC where we would stop and actually go into buildings (Senate Building, Smithsonian, Empire State bldg.) or into Chinatown shops.

I guess the visitor has to decide if they want to do a cultural tour (Olviera Street, the Getty, etc.), the Hollywood fan tour (the Stars' Homes -- I know, rip-off city; the dead tour --Marilyn Monroe's gravesite, the hotel wher Belushi bought it, etc.; the Walk of Fame), the shopping tour (Farmer's Market, Rodeo Drive) or just stick with one or two areas because of time constraints (I like walking around Old Pasadena; Burbank outside up by the mall can be of interest to some people; the Third Street Promenade).

Even just doing Disneyland can take a whole day!

you're right Patty... I think thats exactly what people need to do, decide what they want to concentrate on. Thats a good way to break up into different interests what the points of interest in LA are

Being from the area, I'm just curious what people though about it.
The only tour I take is in my car looking at sights on the way out of town!
